SMS message re-routing in the SysManSMS Server
What if SMS fails to deliver?
SysManSMS Server uses advanced GSM/SMS functions to automatically re-route SMS's that can't be delivered up front. By specifying one or two Backup Numbers for a Primary Number, the Server will automatically involve this powerful technique.
Example:
If a primary mobile number can't be reached, (mobile turned off or outside range) the SysManSMS Server will remove this message at the Operator level, and then re-route to one of the specified Backup Numbers. When the Primary mobile is back on-line, it will NOT get the message, as it was re-routed to a Backup Number.
If no Backup Number specified, the message will be stored at the GSM Operator, for later attempt to deliver.
Every step of this process, including a delivery timeout, will be detailed logged in the SysManSMS Server.
