Safe delivery
SysManSMS Server's supports any global GSM network operator providing a standard GSM service, and uses a standard GSM device to communicate with any GSM network. It does not have any dependencies to internet, and for this reason it is an excellent product to forward urgent alerts if for example mail server fails or network is down. When sending SMS messages, the SysManSMS Server's will check if a message can be delivered to the mobile device, if not, it can re-route the message to alternative numbers.
Trusted operation
The SysManSMS Server gateway is a 365 operating Windows Service application, looking after the message source and most of its own operations. At startup it will check the connected GSM network for functionality, and will flag the problem to the Even Service. If send or receive operations have a problem, administrators will be notified, and if a message storm occurs, the sending to stormed numbers will be halted. A built-in Rights function will make sure that only registered users can send messages into the system, and if any security issue is detected; administrators will be notified. If the SysManSMS Server application stops, or even if the complete Windows platform is switched off, the Watchdog built into the GSM device will detect this critical situation, and notify administrators within seconds !
Add security to mail
SysManSMS Server comes with a complete and secure SMTP mail service to add the safe SMS message channel to your mail system. From any mail client you can forward text to a mobile, and a reply back will route the answer back to the senders INBOX. By this unique function you may keep your SMS message archive inside your mail folders. The mail interface also supports the delivery status, and a delivery confirmation mail can be requested to make sure you know if the destination was reached or not. The SysManSMS Server monitors the SMTP mail service, and will notify administrators if any security or operation problem. |
